Introduction to limit type single head electric heating tube

The limit type single head electric heating tube is installed with fixed baffles or small flanges at the terminal of the single head tube. Customers can customize the specific shape and size of the baffles according to their own requirements.


Design and customization of single head electric heating tube

1. Voltage and power. (Voltage: 6~440V; Power: to be determined through negotiation between the customer and our company)

2. Diameter size: 4.5-30mm can be achieved according to customer requirements;

3. Length of pipe body: Non standard customization (minimum 30mm).

4. Material of electric heating tube: The main materials are 10 # carbon steel SUS304、SUS321、SUS316L、 Stainless steel with coating (waterproof scale treatment), titanium pipes, etc.

5. Selection of electric heating wire: generally iron chromium aluminum wire (Beijing Shougang), nickel chromium wire (2080 resistance wire). The choice between these two depends on the temperature of the customer's working environment.

6. Other: working environment, length of terminal posts or leads (conventional: 200mm), whether threads need to be installed (thread size), etc.


Precautions for using single head electric heating tube:

1. During the use of high wattage density single head electric heating tubes, due to their rapid heating and poor heat dissipation conditions, the external stainless steel tube body of the electric heating often burns black, oxidizes, and deforms, causing the internal heating element - electric heating alloy wire to melt and break due to high temperature air burning, resulting in a shortened lifespan of the single head electric heating tube itself. Therefore, excellent single head electric heating tubes not only require good production quality, but also require the material and processing aperture of the mold (the closer the aperture is to the diameter, the better). The suitable aperture is not only convenient for replacing the single head electric heating tube, but also conducive to the conduction of thermal energy between the two, thus extending the service life of the electric heating tube itself.

2. Attention should be paid to precision in deep hole machining of molds, and drilling at both ends is not allowed, as there are large pores at the junction that cannot be tightly sealed, resulting in poor heat dissipation of the heating tube and uneven temperature of the heated material.

3. Attention should be paid to the magnesium oxide powder at the outlet of the electric heating tube. It should not be contaminated or wet in the usage area to prevent leakage. It is best to reserve 5mm outside the mold.

4. When turning on the electric heating tube, it is best to preheat it for 5 minutes to avoid the risk of leakage due to humid air or moisture infiltration into the tube. When using electric heating machinery, a grounding wire must be installed.

5. Electric heating tubes should be fixed to protect the heating area from leakage and air burning, and to avoid using thermal conductive mud to prevent carbon buildup and leakage in the inner hole, making it difficult to replace electric heating tubes in the future.

6. Suggestions for using heating tubes: When heating molds, it is strictly prohibited to use them with empty or boiled water

7. Precautions for inventory of heating tubes: Place them in a dry place with plastic bags sealed tightly and placed in a humid environment. When the insulation is low, they can be dried in a 200 degree oven
